International Green Week (IGW) is a unique exhibition for the food, agriculture and horticulture industries, held at the Messe Berlin. Producers from all over the world use the event to test-market food and luxury items.
The IGW exhibitions are organised around national, regional or product themes. Presentations feature fresh produce such as fish, meat and dairy products, as well as a vast selection of speciality wines, beers and spirits from all over the world. There are also agricultural, forestry and landscaping exhibits, with themes such as renewable resources and scientific livestock breeding in Central and Eastern Europe.

Additional information is available at the Agricultural Trade Visitor Centre, hall 25, the official foreign and German exhibitor stands and in the CMA hall 20. Many farms offer contemporary services such as country holiday packages and direct sales.

Supporting Program:
More than 250 symposia, seminars, forums, committee meetings, etc. take place during the IGW. Some events are held over a period of days. Participants include a range of commercial and governing bodies from the agricultural and food industries: the 14th East-West Agricultural Forum with 1000 participants, the International Agricultural Policy Forum with 800 participants, as well as congress forums on agriculture, livestock breeding, and industrial/energy crops.
A special "Freshness Forum" -Meat produce - is held for food industry representatives.
